Frosti Raises Money for Kosair Charity Print E-mail
Sunday, 05 July 2009

Over the weekend Frosti of the Tribe was was hard at work, tearing it up at Six Flags in Kentucky. But not shooting a video or doing a performance, this weekend was all to raise money for an incredible cause. The 2009 Kentuckiana Police and Firefighters Benefit raises thousands of dollars every year, 100% of the proceeds went to Kosair Charities (http://www.kosair.org/ ), an amazing organization that helps make the lives of sick children better by helping get them gifts when they can't be at home with their families for holidays, cover families medical expenses, and in general trying to make their lives and recovery the best they can. The event was a huge success, it was a lot of fun and the Governor even certified each of the participants a Kentucky Colonel, so the next time you see Frosti get ready to salute!

Having a skill like parkour and using it to help people that can't help themsevles, that's something that not many people can say they've done. That's something that I would like to be apart of once I work hard to be able to use parkour to my best abilities. Thank you for helping people that need it.

I wish I would have known Frosti was in town. The folks here at LPK would have enjoyed a Jam with him, no matter how brief. It's awesome to be able to use parkour to help bolster communities in so many ways. Awesome work , Frosti!
