APK Warm-Up

Workout: 3 rounds for time:

15 L-Pull-Ups

15 Handstand Push-Ups

15 Box Jumps

how many people can actually do todays workout?

i could do all this but not the hand stand pushups

i had to substitute 30 normal push-ups for the 15 handstand push-ups :cry :( :sigh

Hey Idjum182...do the exercise as called to exhaustion, then substitute the next best thing to finish out each set. I can do about 7 L-pull ups, then I switch to roman chair L-lifts. For the handstand pushups, I lower myself to a bent arm and just do static holds as long as I can, about 20 seconds. Fortunately I can do box jumps so I don't feel completely inadequate! I'm not keeping time on this WOD.

6:12 as rx'd, I liked this one, it was tough. Had to break up my pull-ups during the 2nd & 3rd rounds, my handstand push-ups during the 3rd round, and my box jumps were continuous on a 24" box. My godson was looking at me like I was nuts.

17:15. But, I can't do L-pull ups (so I did it with bent knees) or hand-stand push-ups without leaning against something.
