Knees to elbows is a great core exercise with perfect application to a fundamental skill needed in Parkour; the ability to lift your body from a hanging position without changing the orientation of your arms. In order to do many techniques including underbars, pullovers, and laches, you cannot rely on only lifting your body with your arms, you must also learn to lift your body while maintaining the same arm angle in relation to the ground.

This is the easier version of the hanging leg raise. Good start for icecream makers. :)

You're right, they are fun. Crunches get boring, so I just do these or hanging leg raises.

you know whats wierd i can put my legs all the way up through my arms i used to do it all the time when i was little....but i can't just pull them up to my arms it pisses me off!!!! :(

It actually is really hard. The one thing u need 2 be careful of is swinging, it makes it harder 2 do and u lose control. I added it 2 my ab workout the other day, and it is hard.
