Another quadrupedal movement variation, the ground kong has the same application and benefits of basic quadrupedal movement. In addition, it is very similar to one of the most common basic movements in parkour, the kong vault or cat jump (saut de chat). The ground kong is a fundamental step to build up to a kong vault and a great exercise to further develop vaults and other basic gymnastics skills.

Monkey...hee hee! :zzz But what surfaces would that cross that you couldn't run across? Or is that just for building muscles?

It is good for some different landing techniques and also if you need to stay low or move under something. Also, it helps develop a good kong vault.

it is very good for developing muscles and geting into a good condition to climb walls or any oter trick

I think I did too. I was at practice and tried these before I had to teach. I felt it though.

GREAT WORKOUT!!! especially if your chest and legs arent strong!i know it looks easy but do it 100 times and you will think twice :grin
