Squat hops up stairs is a great exercise to build stronger legs for parkour. This exercise consists of jumping up to a stair, landing into a full squat position, and then repeating the exercise to the next stair up. By training these small jumps and landings in a controlled manner with full range of motion, you will develop strength and flexibility to aid in your jumps and landings.

It's an exercise. It'll help you build leg strength so you can jump higher/farther.

i find that squats are too easy, i still do them but i can do hundreds of them and not feel anything haha. even doing small amounts of reps works and builds the muscles right? or should i keep going till i feel a burn?

If you are no longer feeling anything when you do an exercise like this, something I might suggest is to add a weight vest or even a weighted backpack. Start slow and gradually add weight. You'll definately start to feel it as you go. Another thing is that you want to make sure that you are pushing off your toes, that way it works yoru calfs better.

this works very well. when me and my friend did it and started to stop feeling it, we tried different techniques. One being to do it one leg, and alternate legs for each step. After a while, we could do 30 steps alternating legs all the way up, and back down.

it may seem like a silly move but your jumps will be cleaner and will allow your legs and body to get used to jump up/down to another object.
