APK Warmup

Workout- Parkour Intervals:

Find an environment with varied and random obstacles, optimally between 25 and 50m in length. Perform 10 intervals of 1:00, moving as quickly and powerfully as possible, interdispersed with :30 second rests, for a total of 15:00 

Post results, thoughts and comments. Compare to 12-5-08

Substitutions: Jump Rope or regular running intervals if an appropriate environment isn't available.

I went down to the local hiking/biking trail and did a running exercise. The terrain varied from smooth to covered w/tree roots and from flat to hills. It was quite a vigorous work out and helped me to sharpen my awareness of my surroundings and the various terrain i was running on. I think that by getting out of the usual urban environment and going into the woods helps you boost awareness and gain a new perspective on different obstacles.
