Way back in the days of yore... one month ago... on November 22nd, YouTube held the first ever "L!VE" event. Early in 2008 SF Parkour managed to make a good connection with YouTube, as they are local to the Bay Area, and was invited to do a couple live demos at the office. So when planning began for this bigtime production, we crossed our fingers that we'd be involved. Luckily, they saw something in us and invited us to perform as part of the pre-show and the main event. With Brandon aka "Corndogg", Jeff "Meatlad" Schoenhard, and me (NoSole) handling the planning, we managed to select traceurs for both segments (Main show: Myself, Austin Gall, Albert Kong, and Dan Edwardes [from Parkour Generations]... Pre-show: Andrey Pfenning, Zack Weldon, Alex Stoicheff, Victor Lo Forte, Shane Daniels, Neal Cordova, Russ Bruel, and Tyson Cecka).

The pre-show went off without a hitch and although SFPK had a designated area, we still had a ton of fun roaming around the area and connecting with the other acts between performances. I was pleased with how well everyone performed because it was clear everyone had a good time.
The main event was a bit different because we never got to see what the audience saw. At the same time, though, it was a trip to get to meet all the other talent. I know Albert and Austin were a bit star-struck with the likes of Katy Perry, the Mythbusters, and... well... actually Austin was a bit of a camera whore with everyone back stage. Check out his Facebook page and you'll see, haha! For me, I was happiest to kick it with Jon Chu's League of Extraordivary Dancers (LXD for short) and all the breakers from Planet B-Boy. It was crazy to have watched the film and then just a few months later, be chillin with Knucklehead Zoo, Phase T, and the champs, Last For One. Obviously, they couldn't bring their whole teams, but it was still an experience I wouldn't trade.
Alright, enough talk. Now go waste 9 minutes and get the far more entertaining version:
Thanks,
NoSole

Oh! I was so hyped when I saw that Last 4 One crew was there. I'm incredibly jealous of you guys for getting to meet them! I hope you had a lot of fun there, though. =)

It was a TON of fun. Everyone there was great, YouTube really is committed to making a difference and it really shows in everyone we worked with. The main show was awesome to watch and be a part of, but for parkour the Preshow was where the action was at! Tyson from Tribe joined the demos, and everyone rocked it.
