An acrobatic movement in which a person approaches a vertical face, jumps, places their hands on it, performs an inverted sideways rotation, and lands. This movement is said to be the vertical or inverted version of a palm spin.

Lookup evolution parkour on youtube, in that video they do a couple of these... this is quite hard, for me at least... if the wall is on your right, you want to place your left hand on the wall, then use your right to reach as far over, around and down the left arm and swing your body around with the force...

the explanation is prety good but i suggest you try it on a 2ft wall - horizontally before u try it vertically. 
 
only try a wall if you are well experienced/know what you are doing,
