American Parkour "HotSpots" Contest PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 21 May 2008

APK is dedicated to the growth of parkour and freerunning, not just by a select group of individuals, but driven by the very community that it serves. The hotspots directory is a classic tool used by almost every budding traceur or freerunner to get an idea of well, where the hot spots are to train. Here at APK we're pushing to build the most comprehensive and helpful hotspot directory for all of you, but we can't do it without you, the very people who have but the blood, sweat, and shin-skin on the ledges, staircases, walls, and rails of these locations. So we're holding a contest for the summer to see who can come up with the best hotspot out there. Could be a tried and true well worked location that can be counted on in a pinch, or perhaps your own little spot that you would like to share with the community. Whatever it is we want to hear about it and we want to see it. So check out the examples by Demon in the new and improved APK HotSpot Directory to get a feel for what we're looking for. Read more for contest details (to see what you can win).

the skatepark in my town is a great spot - not just for the park itself bu the whole area around it is a park and recreation area, and has a million rails and walls and other things that are just great to practice on. i'll have to get some pics tomorrow.
