Fish oil is nothing less than essential.

The supplement industry rakes in millions upon millions of dollars each year for products that often times don't work at all. With all the hype, it's easy to brush off any supplement that rises to prominence in the marketplace. Fish oil is the exception.

The Benefits of fish oil consumption are numerous, but they include, among other things:

1.)They play a crucial role in the prevention of atherosclerosis, heart attack, depression, and cancer.

2.) Lead to a significant decrease in age-related memory loss and cognitive function impairment and a lower risk of developing Alzheimer's disease.

3.) Prevent and may help to ameliorate or reverse atherosclerosis, angina, heart attack, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, stroke, and peripheral vascular disease.

4.)Supplementation with 3.3 grams/day of fish oil markedly reduces breathing difficulties and other symptoms in asthma patients.

These benefits are due to the presence of the Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's) omega-3 EFA and omega-6 EFA. The over-abundance of omega-6's in the modern diet are the cause of many modern diseases. By increasing your omega-3 consumption through fish oil supplementation and decreasing your consumption of omega-6's through processed vegetable oils, you will be going a long way in preventing everything from heart disease to cancer.

Don't worry about what food it is in (besides fish, of course)
Just get some gel tabs with maybe some flavoring to them, and swallow them quick, with some water.

This kid i saw was talking about these weird mints. They had the mint coating on the outside, but it was kinda filled with fish oil on the inside. I thought it was weird when i saw them, but it makes sense now.

HA yeah good stuff! Urban Freeflow also had a huge article on Fish Oil. Basically it optimizes ure vitamin uptake into your body and keeps your hormones running good. Also if ure lookin to trim a little around here and there, it really helps by taking in fish oil because it keeps your body getting plenty of healthy fats so it will be more likely to burn stored fat for energy, when ure runnin around. If you go to Kroger, a Whole Foods, or some grocery store they should have supplements of fish oil. Just take one or two of the gel caps in the morning and ure good to go! 8)

I'm no nutritionist, but I think that flax seed oil is probably preferable to fish oil. I'm pretty sure it has more Omega-3 EFA than fish oil and, as it comes from a plant, it can be consumed by vegetarians.

Fish oil for me has no taste at all. It just tastes like canola oil.

Thanks for this article too i'll start eating fish oil again.
