APK has always strived to be a community driven site. Certain members of the community stand out when it comes to these efforts, and we've decided that it would be productive and useful to create a tighter alliance of some of the most helpful and active contributors in the community. By no means does this rule out or discourage anyone from contributing content, writing an article, helping people train. On the contrary, it gives these guys a bit of a platform and a teamwork effort to multiply their productivity. Read more for a list of who's in the group so far ...

I'm sure you'll recognize many of these names as these are people who have been making great contributions in their local community, and many to the American Parkour scene as a whole: (in no particular order, as of 2-28-08)

Micahel "Kipup" Friedman

Travis "Travis Noble" Graves

Sam "Disciple" Slater

John "HCT" Rosenberg

Tony "Rek" Scroggins

Zac "Happydud" Cohn

Ryan "Cloud" Cousins

Kevin "Hak" Haack

Max "BNP" Calder

Brian "NoSole" Orosco

Is this a recognition or some type of advancement?

2. 02-29-2008 06:24

Having trained with Sam and Zac, I feel that this recognition is long overdue. Both are incredibly disciplined, great teachers, and all around cool dudes. Congrats!

Its a recognition of people who have contributed to both their local community and the APK community! Great Job Guys!!

To clarify, right now the team is just a group of guys who keep in touch regularly and pool ideas and resources to help contribute to the national community.

Great job to them guys.

Wish there were traceurs up here in Michigan who'd teach some of us.... I know SkyNative is in Ann Arbor, but I don't think I'd walk up to his door and be like 'Hi, can I invade your life for a while so you can teach me how to advance myself as a traceur?' :roll :zzz :grin
