Escape - Sydney Parkour Print E-mail
Friday, 15 February 2008

This video was filmed in Sydney and features Shaun Wood, Rhys James and Wiseno. We wanted to show something different from the normal videos we make, not just a video full of single moves. Something that shows the way we really feel about training. We tried to capture some of the feelings we get when we train. Training helps us Escape the chaos of everyday life. It's important to take a step back and capture each moment and truely be awake to each moment.  It tries to capture the beauty of the moment.  The video's to share with people the life of a few individuals from Sydney... parkour

4. 02-15-2008 13:46

that was really well filmed, and i thought the music was really cool

also your parkour is so graceful,
really makes it look nice

5. 02-15-2008 18:03

Ooooh! I luved the camera angles! :grin

6. 02-16-2008 04:29

beautifully shot. wonderful angles. very smoothe moves. good soundtrack. i very much enjoy this video. it seems to show that parkour is just about movement, about freedom. It's like pretending you're water moving over and through things. two thumbs up!

7. 02-16-2008 06:18

woah, that was nice

8. 02-16-2008 21:47

Nice work guys.
I dig your style 8)

The video quality was awesome, as well as the editing. The location was excellent... and that's all that can really be said about the video.

It might be just me, but there's nothing impressive about repetition. It's obvious that these guys have done the exact same thing in the exact same place countless times. It's routine and mechanical, not flowing.

I like watching videos where you can tell the traceur isn't so familiar with the surroundings.

It looks like these guys could produce the same parkour if they were blindfolded. This is, "I've done this a thousand times"[ish].

This was video was just beautiful. I loved the editing and the shots of the same sequence from multiple angles. I especially enjoyed the traceurs fluid movements. Seeing the traceurs go one after another, getting to the same place with different routes is what parkour is all about. Keep up the good work.

17. 03-05-2008 09:45

There's always one isn't there?

"Where's you film this?" It says in the intro guh...

Anyways, I loved this video, the Pk didn't have a single glitch it its fluidity, bar the part where the dude had to retake the jump. The music just melted the entire thing into a liquid movie. 10/10 guys...

18. 03-23-2008 13:42

19. 03-24-2008 09:10

8) vid.
:? :x sucky music

20. 03-24-2008 16:05

what are you talking about that music didnt suck it went along with their style of parkour
graceful music + graceful parkour= good movie
hardcore music + hardcore flips everywhere parkour = good movie

if you mix them in any fashion it kills the mood
