DOH! And I almost believed it this time. At least I didn't fly there again, I was dissapointed in the comfort of my own home-
It is rumored that the Parkour segment may go ahead with just the taped part tomorrow morning at 7:40 in New York on the CBS early show. This would air nationally ... I'm hopeful, but not holding my breath :)

I'm starting to dislike CBS. Screwing around with the Parkour program, not broadcasting the Browns in High Def.
Come on CBS, get your act together.

They only like it when misinformed people can speak about it and make it look absurdly dangerous. http://cbs3.com/topstories/

unfortunately there is going to be a movie entitles parkour starring channing tatum. I doubt it will bring positive attention, and further confuse people on the difference between parkour and freerunning

I just happened to turn on the early show this morning a little after 8 and they showed the taped segment with some traceurs from LA. The interview parts were very good, but the youtube clips they showed were rediculous

" My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being,
with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with
productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only
absolute."
A little bit of a deviation from the high-def wallpapers, but I couldn't pass up this photo taken by Tyson Cecka that was in the July 7th POTW gallery. The saying is one I'll never forget from when I saw it on a t-shirt at the first PKUSA in NY years ago. I believe it was Ductmonkey, the creator of PDQ, who was wearing it!
