hey I'm new. I want to start parkour, and I also want to know a couple of things. First of, what does wod stand for? maybe work out daily? um... maybe. anyways, another thing. what would be a good way to measure the meters? like, a city block? past a house? across a baseball field? if someone could tell me how it works, I'd be much obliged. thanks :-)

WOD = Workout Of the Day, a crossfitconcept. 
 
I measured the meters with the speedometer on my bycicle and as I live in a rural area I have the road all for myself :grin .
