K-SWISS and Freerunning

K-SWISS is diving right into Freerunning with a dedicated shoe, the Ariake. Their website has recently been revamped to show their aligment with Freerunning and Parkour and features photos of Sebastien Foucan. Admittedly, the "wiki" definiton of Freerunning is a bit lame, but they'll probably fix that up :) As for the shoes, they rock, but more on that later! Oh yeah, the new commercial featuring Tyson and Victor is also up, look for it on TV starting Friday. WWW.K-SWISS.COM

I know you state "More on that later", so doubtless reviews are coming, but they can't come fast enough! :D

I'm in the market for a new pair of shoes, and have been browsing around for a couplea' weeks now, and this news is very exciting. :D

Some sort of review comin' soon, yes? :D

Quick note, I've been pleasantly surprised in pretty-much every aspect of these shoes over the last couple of months. I like a pretty sensitive sole and super-sticky rubber and a durable upper; check, check and check. The soles, though obviously great on dry, urban surfaces, were also some of the best wet-training shoes I've tried. Top that off with the fact that I've worn them for 2 months of hard training and haven't even begun to destroy them yet. Instead, they're just perfectly broken in. Cool stuff, can't wait until version 2.0

I don't suppose they're planning to develop a women's version anytime soon?

I hope they at least have a size converter on their site so I can figure out what my size is in men's. Haven't had a chance to check.

I dont really like how they look. Picture wise, they look like toys, but yeah, sponsorship means more events, which I have no prob with.
