Midwest Parkour Jam at Chicago - This Saturday! PDF Print E-mail

Once again Chicago will be hosting this year's Midwest Jam, July 20th - 22nd.  With New York and Denver having their own big jams, Chicago will fill the gap between them this summer.  Other locations were brought up such as Minneapolis, MN or Fond Du Lac, WI, but due to time constraints, and people's summer schedules, Chicago ended up being picked again.  We'll look forward to one of those cities hosting this Mid-Summer jam next year.  People are flying out for this event, and it was said to be the best of last years jams...  To get a good idea of the greta Parkour and Freerunning spots were going to, check out the Mountain Dew Video which is still one fo the top ranked videos on MDTV! Oh, it is SO gonna be Minneapolis next year. I just didn't get a chance to properly plan things out...But no worries, Chicago is amazing anyway!

Damn, i would love it if a jam happened up here in Wisconsin. I know I'm not that good but being able to train with and learn from the Parkour vet's would be one HELL of an amazing experience and I only wish i could make it down to the Chicago jam just to even talk with some of you guys. If anybody knows some of the better spots in Wisconsin please let me know. Plus any advice any one could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Otherwise I hear there's quite a scene in Fond du Lac. 
 
Good luck. I hope you get a chance to come to Chicago. I'm very much a beginner (all I do is roll!), so I'm definitely looking forward to learning from everyone I meet down there. 
 
Is it truly impossible for you to make it?

sounds soo good. It would be great to have a Southeast regional jam. Chicago is quite a hike from Nashville...

Muse, thanks for the tip. Im actually in the waukesha area and yea ive hear that Fond du Lac is where its at. And no its not impossible for me to make it, itll just be hard, i might not be able to ask off for work, but right now im just trying to get as much information as i can so i can try harder to make it.
