i have been aware of the term but dont know how to say it any one?

2. 03-03-2008 18:14

I don't speak French but the term is something like "Traw-sur"

3. 04-17-2008 17:27

I thought it was more like "Tray-syure"...?
I dunno, that's just how I've heard it pronounced, so don't take my word for it.

I think that regardless of spelling, it's pronounced "tracer." if not, pkjkd is the next best easiest and is probably the most accurate.

I speak French. It's pronounced tra-SEUR. When you say the "seur" part, pucker up your lips and make it an "oo" sound. It kind of rhymes with "monsieur".

Is it unheard of to simply refer to one's self as a "Tracer?" If not, I think I just coined my very own colloquialism! :p

If so, then I will just be lame. :grin

Is the a verb form applied to parkour? As in "to ______," or "let's go _____," as opposed to "let's go do parkour."

10. 11-14-2008 10:21

yeah, its wierd at first to pronouce. but I belive its

Tra (like truck with-out the "ck" at the end)
and Suer (spoken like the word "Sewer") or like adding an r to the popular court law term to "sue" someone.

Tra-Su-eR (i first learned it like Tra-sue-her and its pretty much said the same here(in ohio)

11. 06-01-2009 08:08

tray su er

12. 07-13-2009 19:41

I speak french. It's pronounced like trah-sir.
"Trah" as in the "tra" in "trap." "Sir" as in the word you use for men.
Not traysewer, not tracer, trah-sir. xD

14. 11-16-2009 17:43

...*sigh*...it's pronounced like ~ Tray-Seer ~

15. 01-21-2010 12:22

lmao. its just "tray-soor" like "par-kour" the ending "oor" sound is the same. "trace+our" like parkour.
and ya the verb of it befuddles me too. haha. i usually refer to them as "sessions"
like "who would be able to have a session friday morning?" but besides that i usually say "wanna do some parkour this weekend?" i dont have a very good verb for it

16. 01-26-2010 15:09
