Stringing together many different movements and techniques to continuously move through the environment.

Within the Parkour community, it is used as a synonym for "path", as in:

"I have many different runs through my town"

Well, if you know anything about skateboarding (not to say that I do or anything) you could use the analogy that it's like a combo. A "run" is simply a "line": doing multiple techniques consecutively and making them look strung together, which look really impressive, because you're moving through your environment efficiently, like you know it very well and know what you're doing.

I don't have enough runs in my city. I usually have to go out of town or tresspass; I'm on a first name basis with most of the cops in my area. :)
