Colorado Parkour Classes Revamped PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 07 March 2007

After much hard work building equipment and revamping curriculum, Demon, kannagisai, and Sat led the new Colorado Parkour classes on Saturday, March 3rd. 25 people showed up and took part in a challenging class consisting of a warm up, parkour specific fitness testing benchmarks, and parkour specific strength and conditioning.

Read more for more information and pictures.

The new Colorado Parkour classes are held at The Spot Bouldering Gym and are also sponsored by La Sportiva. Colorado Parkour offers a 10 week long parkour fundamentals class followed by a more open-ended intermediate class. Parkour classes emphasize the basic movements of parkour, parkour fitness, and the vital relationship between the two. Along with access to the great bouldering, climbing, and fitness resources at The Spot, Colorado Parkour classes feature new parkour training equipment including two 48-inch vault boxes, two 36-inch vault boxes, two 20-inch plyometric boxes, two 10-inch plyometric boxes, two sets of paralettes, four rail attachments, and one set of gymnastics rings.

Thanks to everyone who attended and we look forward to another exciting and successful chapter of Colorado Parkour classes!

I just wanna say to everybody who attended the class it was great to see everybody busting their ass and I hope to see everybody there again. I think that this class was a sign of things to come and the classes will continually improve, just like the people who attend them.

Great job guys, it must've taken a lot of work to put together such a comprehensive class. I'm impressed.

Keep up the good work!
