Tony Olmos from El Paso, TX has just opened up the El Paso Parkour Academy. This spurred a local newspaper, the El Paso Times, to interview Tony and write an article describing parkour. Tony parallels his firefighting experience with Belle's and focuses in on the goal of speedily accessing someone in an emergency. A few photos are included with the article - check it out:

Woooo RyanFord and Mat Marshall strike up a good one with this FAQ-ish article. It talks about the parkour classes that Ryan offers at the Boulder CrossFit Gy, how to sign up, what ot expect, what to wear, etc etc. Nice bit of info if you're looking to see what to expect from a parkour class :)

Freerunning, Art, and Social Ethics
A nice article going in depth to some of Parkour's philosopies. It speaks of how parkour strengthens your mind and your body so that you learn from the wisdom of the body. I enjoyed the article very much since I take a mindful approach to parkour.

Horrible example of what you should be donig as a traceur. DO NOT AVOID COPS AND DO NOT TRAIN ON ROOFTOPS! It is dangerous, you can get seriously hurt, and you can cause a lot of damage. Please read this article and learn what you shouldn't do. Cops are looking for your safety so respect them instead of running. And you never have to touch rooftops during your parkour training!!!

Just a short little blurb about Sheffield hosting a festival where traceurs will be running around all day. The main blurb deals with no alcohol being offered at the park festival. Indeed, parkour + alcohol = bad times, bad times!
