My mom checks the site every day. She calls me up sometimes "what's going on, no updates for a week!!??". When you say "Happy Mother's Day" today, be sure to say "Thank You" as well - and think of all the things you have to be grateful for, starting with your mother :) And Mommas - let your children play!

Giving Criticism When giving criticism and feedback in any situation it's always good to keep a few things in mind. Most importantly support your claim; if it's a bad roll then explain why. Don't just tell someone they suck or that their kong is wrong, make sure to give feedback. If you're criticizing someone let them know how to fix it. Read more for complete article!
Here it is, the first of Three videos documenting The Tribe's recent National K-Swiss Freerunning tour. Over the next three days, we will be releasing all three videos (one per day) right here on the home page of the site, so be sure to check back regularly!
This Video is the compiled footage from the first three legs of the tour, University of San Francisco, University of Southern California, and Southern Methodist University in Dallas. I apologize for the lack of footage in USC and Dallas, we were too engulfed in training, hanging out, goofing off, that we just up and forgot to whip out the video camera! We still got enough to get the point across though :)
In February of 2002 I saw something that changed my life. The BBC's "Rush Hour" video featured a man jumping between buildings, flipping, vaulting, all with incredible grace. There was no question to me that these "stunts" were real and that the man performing them had worked incredibly hard to get to the physical and mental level he demonstrated. The day I saw that video changed the rest of my life. David Belle brought us all Parkour and I am forever grateful. Thank You David Belle, Joyeux anniversaire! - M2 - "Read More" for video.
The members of the APK Alliance have noticed that the Tutorials section of APK, while covering most of the essential 'moves' for parkour, was lacking in tutorials for those who would like to do more elaborate movements for Freerunning. Thus, they will be adding step by step guides and videos for a variety of movements each week. Be sure to keep an eye here and on the APK Tutorials Page for these additions.
Parkour practitioners (traceurs) and Freerunners hold certain ideals, among them the most important are safe practice and respect for our environments we train in. To highlight this, we are banding together across the country today to clean up areas where we train. In Washington, DC a group will leave Primal Fitness at 12:00 after a parkour training session and head for Rock Creek Park where we'll aim to fill at least 30 bags of trash. Please check your state forums to see if there is an initiative near you and join in, if there isn't a post in the forums, call your friends, go out, and clean up your favorite training spots!
Check out the new website by Parkour Horizons in Ohio! Parkour Horizins is a group dedicated to teaching people using Parkour and the art of movement as a basis.
