APK JAMS

Have you ever walked to class on a beautiful day, only to find out that it was canceled? Or have you gotten out of work when it's 83 and sunny on a day that was supposed to be overcast? Or maybe you dropped your sister off at a friend's house and drove past a sweet playground? Whenever this happens to me, I want to go TRAIN. But I either have to drive home and post on the forums and wait for someone to respond, or I have to call a ton of people to see who can come out. What if there was a way to contact everyone at once? What if there was a way to use your current phone to send one quick text message and have it go to everyone in a community – whether you knew them or not?  

We want to introduce APK JAMS – the American Parkour Jam and Meeting System.

APK JAMS is an awesome new way to plan impromptu jams using only your current cell phone! We've developed a proprietary system that utilizes the Twitter API and allows you to send a text message from your phone, and within about 45 minutes, that message will be texted to everyone who is registered for your own local APK JAMS. It's infinitely scalable, which means it'll work for communities of three people just as well as it'll work for communities of three hundred people. It means no more keeping track of a ton of phone numbers or having to spend fifteen minutes calling and texting everyone you know.

There is a one-time set up fee for using APK JAMS. Only one purchase per community is necessary - after it is set up everyone can join and use it for free*. Once you purchase APK JAMS, a representative from American Parkour will set up your APK JAMS account for you, then contact you and teach you how your fellow traceurs and freerunners can sign up and start using it.    

This is a product that American Parkour is releasing to help communities grow stronger, so encourage members of your community to chip in! We've tested it in a few seed communities already and it's been wildly successful!
