http://www.newburytoday.co.uk/News/Article.aspx?articleID=6991This is an absolute horrible piece in my opinion. They didn't even do basic research, they just asked random people about parkour and free running. They say Seb is recognized as the founder of parkour and then discourage people from practicing parkour. Also i say we should make a sticky of all the bad and good pieces on parkour and free running out there. Sorta like a Blacklist and a praise list.

It's not even well written. Disappointing, for a news piece /against/ us. Common people just don't understand that there are general limitations that the larger Parkour community understand and abide by, but not all aspiring traceurs know of.

I have to agree that this is a bad article but the traceurs in question are doing a terrible job of representing parkour in their area.
They have no experience and they are putting themselves at great risk. They are giving parkour a negative image which is being reflected in the article.
The reporter doesnt know much about parkour and from what he can see, it is no more than reckless endangerment.

You know not to be mean or anything but I think we as a parkour community need a group of hitman traceurs so we can take out all the bad traceurs who bring parkour into negative light
Either that or someone comment their video and tell them what they are doing is wrong and not the true nature of parkour

Just because you and a buddy got hold of your parents camcorder and went down to Pizza Hut does NOT make you a traceur! When will people learn! Its a fact that people in front of a camera lose 10% intelligence while in front of that camera. When you don't have too much to begin with 10% is huge...These kids need a Big Brother.

Ya see what i mean this is horrible and i hate the fact that Google would have it in their news section. Also did anyone give any though to my idea? It would be like this. Black List:http://www.newburytoday.co.uk/News/Article.aspx?articleID=6991Gold List:With whatever good articles are out there. I think it would be good to have one constantly updated topic with all the good or bad news pieces as in newspaper type pieces not videos and such.

Local police wished to emphasise how dangerous the practice is to deter others from joining in. Local lad, 14-year-old Alex Leatherbarrow from Wantage, fell to his death in August 2005 by attempting a free-running jump between two school buildings just a few days before his 15th birthday. He was attempting to jump a six-foot gap with a friend when he slipped. This is just what we need: the police hating us: and a noobie who thinks hes Donkey Kong
