Flexibility has always been a problem for me. But FreeStyleFox has challenged me to reach my toes while standing or sitting on the ground and stretching to them. So, now that I can touch me toes (for about 5 seconds >.>) hehe, I challenege the rest of you to the same thing. But the challenge is to be able to do it and hold it for atleast 10 seconds. As soon as you can do this, add your name to the list. This will be sort of like a weekly challenge or however long it takes for atleast 20 people to complete the current challenge. When we reach the 20 then I will set out a new challenge. I think this sounds like a great idea and I am sure you will all enjoy it. =D So good luck to all who take into the challenge. =).
Note: If you can already do it, you should just wait for the next challenge =P. This is to help people grow in their training, and if all of you amazing people that can hold it for forever place your names down, then noone will be able to commit to one challenge. So please be curteous to those trying to better themselves. Thank you. =)
If this topic has already been made, I apologize.

If you read it you would understand that it is meant to be a challenge. If you can do it already then you should challenge yourself, as you have just shown yourself your next goal. I will be posting my goals like I have decided above. I want to help people progress more. And if my challenge isn't hard enough, you should modify it to make it a challenge. Sorry for the inconvenience. I just don't want people feeling bad because you come here and say it is nothing, when it is actually a challenge for a lot of people. I hope you see my point.

Excellent idea. Although I can already do this fairly easily. Hopefully other people will chime in cause flexibility is definitely important.
For the next: how about all 3 splits? That will get my butt into gear...

I started stretching about 4 months ago. After my first 10 minutes, I can completely grab my feet and start stretching to bring my head to my knees.
A couple of days ago, I did a single leg split stretch (don't know what it's called, but you only have one leg extended). I was able to touch my knee with my forehead for about 5 seconds.
Since I am able to stretch more and more until I peak out after about a 30 minute stretch regime, my next goal is to be able to do it right off the bat, without having to work my way to it for 30 minutes.
I am already able to touch my toes right off the bat with the single leg extension stretch, so there has been some considerable progress.
Those of you who can't touch your toes, this is a great challenge!
Those of you who can, think of your next stretching target, and go for it!!!

Cpt, that is what I am saying. Don't wait for me to call out the next challenge, make your own. And when I get the next one going maybe it will be challenging for you too. And the splits are a bit too far along the way. Lol. We are still talking about touching our toes here >.> ELOHEL. Sorry that I that far behind, but one day I may be able to do the splits and that could be a challenge. Maybe sooner than we all know. =)

Hey Steve, the side splits have been the bane of my existence my whole life. How about you and I work on our splits; I bet you will still get all three before I get my side splits.

I'll play Muse. Been working on my splits for a year now with no real change. I guess now's a good time to get serious.

Front splits, side splits, or both?

Ok. So I think this thread should be made like Muse has made it >.> You just come here to challenge others to something you are working to do. And if you win, and you are good and do talk trash,or whatever, then the person(s) you beat have to +1 karma you =D. It is all up to you. But I just kinda thought that would work. New ideas are always fun =)

Oh gosh. Splits. I used to be really great at all of them, but then I was a victim to poor stretching techniques. I had no one watching out for that... I can't do any now. Good challenge!
