where would the best place to practice and learn a butterfly kick? a trampoline, on a mattress, wrestling room, just grass:/? i have access to a gym but only for an hour on friday and its usually around a 50% chance ill be able to go?

Grass. If you screw up a b-kick, you're not going to land on your head. Anything else and it's going to screw up the movement/preparation/execution.

i just went out and practiced it and i cant keep my body straight when im spinning in the air, my head ends up where my legs are and i land on my ass, im doing a static B-kick, should i try to run with it?

Are you trying btwists or bkicks?

They just take practice.  It's weird getting used to the flatspin of this trick. You have a camera...just keep filming yourself, comparing, and practicing.
