I know that Chipotle is in more than just Colorado now, but since it originated there I thought I'd post here.

Anyhoo, has anyone else heard that Chipotle has been bought by McDonalds? I heard it from my sister but am still not sure if it's true or not. Anyone have any idea?

Google, "chipotle mcdonalds", second result: http://ir.chipotle.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=194775&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=916004&highlight=

First result was wikipedia, saying the same thing.

McDonald's DID own a majority share of the stock, but sold it.

I know not who you are alex mills but that is a lie.  hepatitis B is not transmittable by unsanitary food practices.  they may have given some people hep A but not B.  your arguement is also not very scientific.  chipotle serves millions of people, very few get sick.  this is normal, if not commendable.  lastly, you should always be aware of the sanitation levels of any restaurant you patron.  aware on a firsthand basis.  otherwise you fail at being safe and deserve things you dont look out for.

That doesn't bother me much..  pretty sure it's not Chipotle protocol to never wash your hands.  lol.  However, it does make me not want to eat fast food in San Diego, or at least S.D. Chipotle.

the best thing about chipotle is when americans mispronounce the name and say something like "chipoddle" instead of "chipoatlay"
