I am pretty sure that the main tip is a need to get higher, and second I need to try it on an actual flat vertical wall. I wasnt drilling it that day, I just kinda felt like going for it once and this is what I got....

get ready for a little laugh

hey, I went to the gym the other day for the first time, and that idea came up. i ran at the wall and pushed off and landed it, with a stumble. I tried to recreate it but I didnt push backwards enough and my legs got caught on the wall also. I dont think height is that big of an issue, as your feet hit the top of that mat, and if you had pushed backwards more i think you would have made it.

Grin nice, Ozzi. I can do the lie on my back, looking stunned. Some day I hope to get the rest of the move.

Looks like you needed about 90o more rotation. Even if it had been a straight wall, I think you would have clipped your feet on it. It looked like your momentum was still a little bit forward. When you clipped your feet, your hips were already at the elevation they needed to be for a straight leg landing.

So either much faster rotation, (or a little faster with a bit more height), plus more backward momentum. And I could be totally wrong. Tongue

I know this will sound odd. But don't run so fast at the wall. Kinda of go at a............skipping pace? I don't know if that makes sense, but try going slower and concentrating on jumping back, you can worry about the speed later.
