Well look at it this way Hawaii, you are one of the first, which means you can be a teacher of the people that see it as building jumping and as it is their sport, let them know that people have been doing this sport since man was born. Let them know that building things are just extra perks, they have to work their way up to that sort of thing. As long as you know what you are talking about, I am sure you can get them to understand, that is to all of you. And if America gets the wrong picture of parkour, that is when we start standing up, and letting them know what it is about. And if that fails, we shall go back to the drawing boards...

Or just let them think what they will and keep training and advancing our level of biomechanical movement.

What I'm afriad of is if a cop or even worse a security guard who thinks hes a cop sees this and thinks that when he sees me or some1 else training for parkour he'll asume im training to to become some sort of bank robber. I know this for the majority wont happen but there always are those ignorant people in places in authority who think they are above the law and wont listen.

You should learn your rights. You could pretty much tell them to leave you alone. As long as you aren't doing anything illegal, you will be perfectly fine. Just let them know that you are causing no harm, you are training on public property, and they really can't do anything... Really.

Interestingly enough, the movie Yamakasi was also rather robbery-oriented, though that was for a more noble reason. And District B13 started off with stolen goods too. Guess we're stuck stealing stuff. lol, thats true but those two movies weren't that big , this one probly will be

maybe we could get a whole bunch of people to go to the movie and start screaming how that isnt what parkour is and stuff, or we can stand outside with signs and everything.

Yea... but the more I think about this movie, and the more people keep focusing on the negative, I think that this could be a good thing for us. I mean seriously. Im sure you have all seen an episode of COPS once in your life. Havent you ever seen the criminals running from cops, jumping fences and crap? Maybe it will be the cop in the movie who takes on parkour to clean up the streets. That would be an interesting plot for the movie I think. I guess we will just have to wait it out and see what happens when it gets into theater, if that ever happens.
