whats wrong with COPK? everything you want (schedules, hotspots, etc) can be posted on there as long as you submit it. im glad to put it all up.
by the way, e-commerce means sites that sell stuff....like ebay.

nobody has ever emailed or requested it be put on the schedule. it deals with a lot of denver or boulder things because those are the people who have submitted the most content. send me CO springs stuff and it will go up on the site.
so if its an e-commerce class, why aren't you supposed to make an e-commerce site?

It's not like it would do any harm, anyway. I think you should use an Invision power board if you really want to do it. Go to invisionfree.com and you can make an awesome forums page for it. That might not work out with your asignment though.

i don't really know much about the CO scene that I am moving into but one thing i don't like about the NY scene is that its so separate from APK. I don't really understand why there is a need for special private boards and sites for different scenes. Seems like coloradoparkour.com is really good so far and it should be built up, not separated further.
Just my opinion as an outsider...

That does make sense. I will have to agree with that as well, now that I have thought about it a little more.

not that there is anything wrong with the COPK website.... I think they did a wonderful job with this site!!!!! message boards and drills and tutorials and just about everything you could want out of a parkour site. plus they really help to keep people in touch and informed on whats going on. they throw jams and do their best to weed out all the "false prophets" so MEGA PROPS TO COPK!!!!!
BUT........
seems to me that its a free world and you don't always have to do the same thing as everyone else. I for one say if you want to build your own site......DO IT! isn't that the philosophy of it all any way? find your own path and such. Just be aware that if you choose your own path there will be those that will praise you and those that will not. these boards are full of both. so don't be surprised if you get some negative comments about what you are doing. just take them all in stride and listen to both negative and positive comments carefully. If you really choose to walk a different path, hold you head up high and strut down YOUR path with pride. REMEMBER...just because it is different, doesn't mean its wrong!!!!!!!
