I think it's annoying how in these commercials they just add random flips in there they wouldn't even help you in anyway getting somewhere, but it was a good commercial.

yeah i get what you mean. Commercials like this aren't meant to be parkour documentaries though haha, its just to add some ''wow'' factor into their production because most people who work in the media think flips are more impressive to regular people.

wait wait wait. I'm sorry here...

I try to watch these things with an open mind, but this is too much.

Do you get to SEE what the project is that you're working before you sign onto the project?

Let me get this straight. You are promoting that beer is a healthy alternative to regular drinks? (even soda and whatever!), especially during physical activity, like those guys( you guys) were then participating in?

You mean to tell me that you signed up to a project where you are trying to promote having a beer instead of keeping yourself properly hydrated?

I mean don't get me wrong, I love beer.
But you have not only sold out completely, but are idiotic.
You bring shame to the use of the hip-hop leg at :33.

I'd like to agree with you, jumpoff, but i think i'd be a hypocrite for doing so. As bad as a decision it was, if i was in their place, i would've signed on too. Money for parkour is irresistible to me. I commend you for being a better man than I, though.

On the flips, cord is right. They are impressive, as much as people who cant do many flips (like me) hate to admit.

but this is just stupid.

Well, i hope that if i was faced with such a situation, i'd be able to do the right thing. But i'd certainly be tempted, is all i'm saying.

I would not deny that I would do a commercial for just about anything if they gave me enough money. And I think you would have to have a very, very strong mind indeed not to. One that I doubt most people have...I mean granted, it would have to be a fair amount of money, but how is doing an ad for beer selling out? Maybe you like the beer, maybe you are a beer drinker in general...how is it selling out if you apply another skill you know to something else you like, while gaining a little money in the process? I mean granted, if I did an ad for something I was completely against, I would feel bad. But I'm not against beer at all, so why should I feel like a sellout? And I would watch out JumpOff, you are getting very close to outright insulting the TS and some of the repliers.

What is TS?

Let me put it into a perhaps more recognizable context.

Do you watch Family Guy? Remember that Episode "Mr. Griffin goes to Washington"? (Season 3, Episode 3),  where El Dorado Cigarettes buys out the Toy Company that he works for? And then they offer Peter a bunch of perks in return that he go to DC to lobby Congress to allow babies to smoke?

It's sort of like that.

I mean it's a small thing that makes a big difference: If they had just run to the beer, I guess that would have been fine...BUT the fact that they are sitting there, looking tired, and start to drink water/soda/sports drink, and then DROP them to run to BEER, is the problem.
Do YOU drink beer when you train? If so, than perhaps this product is for you...but for the thousands of other people that don't, and the thousands more that may have seen commercial and wondered what parkour was, I don't think this is an appropriate message.

Beer is different in the UK.

Those guys weren't about to begin a huge pk session. Looked like they were sitting about to drink some juice, and then thought, omg I need me a beer. Very routine in the UK.

Haha, I am still waiting for the copy and for it to air, but I did a local commercial for Mc Donalds which I hate to admit, but for the sake of promoting PK in hawaii and getting out name out there I did it, I imagine, jump off you are gonna jump all over it saying that if you do eat fast food you wont be able to do this kind of stuff, and I agree.... but I really wanted the experience and cant wait to see my self in action on TV wohoooo

as for the beer commercial I really thought the same when I saw it "what beer, really" but like the post above me says, what if you are just with your biddies and say "yo, lets get some beers, last one t get there buys" kinda makes sense.

I do sometiems when I get home from 3 hours of training and there is no cold watter, cant resist the taste of an ice cold corona... guilty.
