Brand new group in the Big Eazzy...

Parkour Nola is for anyone with a serious intrest in parkour, you dont need to have any experience with parkour, but you should at least have an athletic back ground or an understanding in the physical requirements.  We plan on meeting weekly or more around the city. The group will start with fundamentals and conditioning, though there will always be days for exploring the big easy. Also there will be meets especialy for gymnastic training, creative skills and technique.  I have a gym mat myself, also I am planning on talking with a few local gymnastic centers I know of for training time or sessions with an instructor.  Something you should keep in mind if you are new to parkour, it can be dangerous, it requires patience, determination and a strong will. The groups' purpose is to help you foster safe habits for exercise and conditioning, but utimately it will be your resolve that will determine your success. Take your time but practice constantly, dont wanna jump, gotta jump!

Our site will have all the meet postings.

Rebirth baby!

Are you still meeting?  I live in Hammond, and I've been looking for a group around here.  I just started out about six months ago, and I'm still pretty green, but I'm eager to improve.
