Origin of Parkour?

Okay... this is kind of a random question, and I hope I chose the right place to post it, but is there a good article/source that clearly explains the history behind parkour? I know that it doesn't really have one specific person that started it, but something that shows how David Belle and his father and the Yamakasi or any of these people tie into the history behind parkour. I tried Urban Freeflow but I had trouble finding a good article about it. Anyone know any? Thanks

Wikipedia is a good place to start. The article is pretty balanced for the most part. howstuffworks.com has a decent history, although I have an issue with the emphasis the article places on "huge" stuff like massive gap jumps and whatnot. It also seems to rely pretty heavily on UFF as a primary source; not in itself a bad thing, but just something to bear in mind when reading the article.

Otherwise, the rest you just kind of pick up by soaking up the culture.
