Hello and welcome Aphoticlight!

Check out the CO Jams part of the forum...there's a bunch of folks down in the Springs that get together.

As far as fitness and conditioning...check out the main APK "General Fitness" forums for lots of tips on workouts, diet, injury prevention, etc.

Also check out the american parkour main page for their workout of the day...brutal!

Hey apo-name i can't pronounce-light,

Welcome to the Springs, I'm Dan, and here's a copy-paste of what I just told the other new guy in town:

"There's a whole bunch of Springs related threads here right now if you look around or you can just meet us for our weekly training sessions...

at 7:00 tonight and every Thursday, untill forever
at Tiffany Square at the intersection of Woodmen Rd. and Corporate Drive

wear layers"

hope to see you out there.

I live down south in Fountain and have to pass the wrold arena to go anywhere in town.  I could pick you up on the way up to a training session, as long as I have directions and you don't mind riding in a crappy old Plymouth Voyager, lol.

Oh, and you don't need to worry about being new to parkour.  You just take everything at your own pace and try to learn all you can from everyone else.  Nobody will expect you to do anything beyond your skill or ability.

come as you are man

if I trained untill I felt good enough to perform in front of others I never would have gone to a single jam

there's kind of an unspoken code of "no-pressure" among traceurs
with the condition that you don't push yourself passed your limits for spectators' sake.
