I'm CrazyWalrus and I'm just now starting Parkour and Free Running. Any advice would be appreciated since I'm new to all this. I think the tutorials are great but I'm kind of confused on some of it.

Well I guess I'll do the formal intro thing. My name is Brendan and I live in Fort Myers Florida. A few friends and I just got into parkour/freerunning. We've been training now for a couple of weeks and are definitely becoming better. Thanks in part to the tutorial section of this site. Well that's about it. Glad to be part of the community.

Hi all,
I've been reading these forums for quite a while now, probably around three months. I've recently had a lot more exposure to them, since the site parkour.net closed down. I'm a sophmore at PEA (Exeter, NH). I've tried to start a Parkour club at my school, but there's still not a lot of interest.
I came back from France a couple of days ago, and I was probably a couple of kilometers away from Lisses at one point, but my parents absolutely refused to take me. Talk about unlucky. I started parkour in March, so I've been doing it for about half a year. However, I should focus a lot more on actually improving once school starts.

Hello, I am Nick, and I am new to Parkour! One problem I have is lack of places to use the parkour moves.

Yo! Greyson from Central Valley,CA I've been in martial arts for 2 years now and are just getting into Parkour. Parents won't let me go far by myself so i have to stick with a wall and a few ledges i guess it's a good way to start.

Hey, my name is Will, and I found out about parkour and freerunning by watching Levi on Ninja Warrior Very cool, I know. I'm a sophomore at James Madison University in Virginia, and I'm studying to be a piano performance major, but I did track and cross-country in high school, so I've always been involved in sports of some sort. I've been conditioning and mildly training Parkour for about two to three months now, and I'm hoping to meet some other people to train with here in Harrisonburg to really get started. Oh, and I live about 30 minutes from Fredericksburg when I'm not at school, if that matters any. I hope to learn a lot and contribute however I can. This is a great community, so thanks for having me! -Willy D

Hello from Riverside California Started free running back when other people called it 'freestyle walking' in the late 90's. Quit for a while here and there, but started getting back into it recently, as i need to exercise more and this is what i like. peace

Hey, I'm new here, as of today I've been doing parkour for about 3 days. I'm fairly good at cat jumps. I'm in Missoula MT, and hope to find a perfect spot to practice.
