XD not too long, it's only been about two years. I did it a while back, but it wasn't challenging enough, so I got out of it and decided to take it in high school. That was freshman year. Going into my junior year now, testing for my...purple belt, so yea, slow going XD. But we spar on our free time when he's not giving us lectures, we usually do point because we're competitive that way, but our instructor spars with his friend sometimes for demonstration, that's pretty cool.

Hi, I'm Michelle. I'm actually coordinating a film exhibit in Argentina titled Cine Parkour. We already have all the artists on the project, but I'm trying to gather a general reply on what you think Parkour stands for. What is the philosophy? And how it affects other parts of your life...especially on a mental and spiritual sphere? I'll probably reposting one more time, but if you guys have any replies...please write me your comments at michelle.parkour@gmail.comThanks a bunch!

yoyoyomega I'm Aaron from MA (where parkour seems to be widely unknown ). I'm pretty new to this. I have nobody to train with >.<. Hopefully I'll meet somebody when I start taking gymnastics classes (taking them to give me the basic skills needed for parkour ). If anybody from or around the fall river, ma or surrounding areas wants to train let me know! training alone is boring >.<

Helllooo I'm Junseok (pronounce Joon Sock) and I like the color yellow I've done Tae Kwon Do for 5 years and I'm looking for some new physical activity. I still train on my own in my spare time though. Parkour looked like fun because it looks like it involved a lot of running, jumping, and climbing (all three of which I enjoy).

Another new guy here. Going to be living in the Twin Cities here in MN for a couple months before i leave for Air Force basic training.(See what i did with my name clever huh;-)
Always something i have been interested in and i know it will help me get into shape along with the Crossfit workouts that i have been doing. Hope to see some of you around, and have a great weekend. -Stryker
EDIT: I just saw the post about names, so i put mine in the personal text box. If that is insufficient for any of the moderators let me know and I will create a new account.

It's not a rule, just a suggestion. If you want, I think you can stlil actually change your username without re-registering. But it's not a big deal either way.

Hey Guys, My name is Nick, and I'm fairly new to Parkour, but I've been climbing for about five years now so the sport doesn't seem wholly unfamiliar. I'm currently in Grand Rapids, MI, but I go to school in Kalamazoo, MI. Cage fighting is my current passion; I train Muay Thai and BJJ about 45 hours a week, so I decided to start training le parkour to increase my mobility and flexability in the cage (and it looked damn fun). If anyone in the W. Michigan area ever wants to get together and train parkour or martial arts just shoot me an email ( k06na01@kzoo.edu).
