Hey, I have been practicing parkour for a few years now but have not made an effort to try and reach out to the parkour community here in Colorado Springs.

I see a lot of activity and jams happening up in Denver and in Boulder, and that is awesome . . . though it would be a little more awesome if I lived up there.  So, anyone know of any events or anything going on here in the Springs?  If not, we should plan some.  I'm sure we can all pull our knowledge together of some hot spots.  I know of a few.

Yeah, I found that thread after I posted that, but so far nobody has posted in response to what I posted.  I'm sure they will soon though.

I live down in Fountain, so about 20-30 min. away from Cottonwood park.  I have been over there a few times and have seen some freerunners that usually do a lot of flips and stuff like that.

I remember I Cat-Vaulted over those walls there and talked with a few of the guys there, and I saw some more when my friend and I were making a stupid movie for fun.

Yeah, I hope to be there this week.  I have not been able to make it for a few weeks.  The one time I went nobody was there.  That was before Christmas though.

Are you guys that Free Running group that I have seen there a few times?  When exactly do you meet?  I'm more of a Parkour Purist, but I still enjoy Cottonwood Park whenever I go there.

Hey What's up? I'm moving down to Colorado Springs in a bit, and was wondering if there was anyone I could train with. Shocked Smiley

Check out CO Jams.  There's some threads in there that talk about our weekly training schedule.  We currently train on tuesday's at 4:30.

What part of the Springs you moving to?  Where from?

I'm comin' down to the area around Sierra High. I live in Alaska right now. The town I live in is down in the Tongass, and is usually muddy-making the little bit of grass we do have not so good for training. But I used to live in the Springs when I was younger, so I know my way around pretty well(at least I think I do...) How long do you guys usually train?
