I saw something like this on pkto's boards.

GOAL: APK, as a community, does 10,000 pullups. If you can't do pullups, do chin-ups. Or kipping pullups. Or jumping pull/chinups.

Once you've done some, post here with how many you did, and then the new total.

Example:
Pull ups: 20.
New Total: 5,400.

Go for it! Let's see how quickly we can work together as a community to do a ridiculous number of pullups. (If this takes off, when we've completed this task we can do a different exercise.)

Sounds like fun, I'm really sore today from doing a bunch of pushups, so I'll work on pullups if not tomorrow the day after Wink

Also, I vote for the next exercise being squats, possably 20,000 since they're relatively easy, and your thighs recover faster than your arms do

Urgh  Angry. My stupid computer screwed up and I couldn't get to the edit in time lol. Major typo, I wasn't paying attention when I put in the amount, 15,000*

During our training sessions here in Columbus we play games that involve doing a lot of push-ups as punishment for for failure. For example we balance walk on a handrail 100 feet long going uphill, and anyone who falls off without being able to walk the entire length of it would have to do push-ups on the spot. By the end of a three hour training session, the combined number of push-ups done would usually be pretty substantial in number.

Any pullups count! I'm training one-armed pullups now, so maybe I'll be able to contribute 1 or 2 to this by the end.

Okay sweet. Cuz I don't have a pull up bar or anything like that, so I have to do pullups on my fingertips at the top of the doorway(the wooden overhang).

And I just went and did 6 more.
