Hay all, im new to the whole Parkour scene, well make that "any physical movement of any sort" scene, basicaly im a lazy sob who acualy wants to get fiter, (im average for my age and hight) however im not happy being lazy, and i wanted to do something to get into a better health condition, well i can stand just running, its so boring, so i figured Parkour would do, only thing is i have NO endurance, and i was wondering if you all could give me ideas for things i could do to help increase my stanima, while not being so monotomus.

Thats great!  I used to be lazy, actually still am some Wink, But I love seeing people get the attitude to do some physical stuff Cheesy.  Well, eventhough you aren't too fond of running that would probably be the best way to increase your stamina.  I would recommend finding a friend that enjoys running and try running with them.  You can start off slow then work your way up to longer stuff.  Or if you want to get in shape really quick (of course it involves killing youself, at least it feels like your killing yourself Wink) you could go out to the nearest school track and run a (emphasis on run) 54321 everyday.  This is when you go out and run a 500 (one and a quarter laps) around the track, then straight to a 400 (one lap) with very little rest time, then to a 300, then to a 200, then to a 100 (100 should be as fast as you possibly can).  These will make you feel like your in hell the first week or so, but it is the fastest way to get in shape that I know of, it's what I use to get in shape for track Smiley.  If you really don't want to do running then I'm not quite sure, maybe swimming, I know thats good.  I sure that other people will post suggestions but I hope this at least helps a little and good luck! I post up a daily workout on the front-page that is perfect for gaining and maintaining broad-range fitness with no more than your body-weight. I post appropriate substitutions for those who are new and out of shape, but if you ever have any questions shoot me an email. Cheesy

Well thnx for the tips, i think i might modify that 54321 thing a little to make it a WEE bit less stresfull on me, but i might do it, because i am lazy and like to see quick results even if it does kill me..... Grin
