There has been some great posts lately that have just advanced the idea behind conditioning and what is parkour.  Although, I think the last straw was with JUMPOFFTHEROOF? posting something about the knowledge of parkour at a stand still.  I did like his post by the way.

Here is my Rant of the month...since March and April have seemed to have received a serge of very valuable information.

Is JUMPOFFTHEROOF? right with the whole Knowledge of parkour at a stand still.  There are two parts

When reading this you should read the cited information or...you just wont get the full context of the post

A. Yes, parkour is coming to a stand still. I feel that after many years and many people coming together that the community of parkour is becoming very tight in the flow of information.  There for, the community is becoming stronger in the philosophy and EXACTLY what it means.  With posts such as SEBASTIENS ( HERE ) we are starting to truly understand what parkour is really about.  Loose ends are being tied up that David Belle kept falling behind on.  People are stepping up and telling truths and taking actions.  Which threads such as Blanes ( HERE ) we are starting to understand what it takes to be a true traceur as well as M2 and Gear finding ways of training for parkour specifically with Primal Fitness ( here )and change the way we all can change our bodies into what it takes to live the philosophy.

B. No. Parkour is not at a stand still.  There will always be debate over the new comers that come in and ask if parkour is doing a flip.  There will always be the media coming in and talking about how dangerous it is even though people have been training it for Close to 40 years (with a name to it) without deaths. (screw you New Yorker) And there will be the people arguing over what technique are better and what things are going to help us advance more.  Just reading the thread that about what parkour is the act or the training.  Animus light ( Here )

There will always be the ability to advance in parkour.  How many shoe threads do we have talking about how these new shoes are going to give you better grip, more shock etc.  New workout books, machines, gadgets, supplements.  Parkour will always be advancing.  The ideas, the thoughts, the philosophy.  As long as we keep it going everything will continue for the best.  I fell that parkour as a whole is really working right now.  Parkour has packed its bags and is touring the globe.  Parkour is a hell of a business man right now and we are all mezmorised by its glory right Holla!

I just feel so much is going right, its amazing.  So many opportunities for all of us to step it up and truly believe in something that is getting nailed down.  Its a good thing I think...woah I think as a community we are allll so super pumped right now.  Such such great great things are happening.  I fell the spirit comin' into me WOAH...I'm excited.

Edit: Spelling in the title...unless you're talking about some Eastern European guy named Serge Wink -gear-
