Your center of gravity isn't rising at all... When you do your jump, you need to try to get your entire body up a little more.

also, at around 1:00. that was a nice TV! I want an LCD like that (or enough free space to do aerials in the comfort of my heated living room!!)

anyways, I suggest working on getting HIGHER, not faster, which is what most people try to do.

One more thing, don't take my advise to heart (I don't do aerials, I just know what's supposed to be done... see, I'm just not the type who's good at doing "showy" moves. I just do what needs to be done and leave it at that)

I'd get someone else's opinion if I were you, but that's my take. I can see that your waist doesn't seem to be rising more than a VERY few inches (maybe 3)

Ok, im not expert on arials, you should really talk to Frosti about em.
But from what I can see the biggest thing is that you bring your legs together  while in the air. This kills your rotation and defeats the purpose of the arial. The move is all about the splits in the legs, even if you cant do the splits, imagine doing them in the air and hold it till your opposite leg hits the ground.
Next thing is that what youre doing with your arms isnt helping much. The one arm is throwing you down towards the floor, the other just kinda waits then catches the floor. I dont want to explain what to do with your arms, but just check out this tutorial for them at trickstutorials, it really helped me with arials. http://trickstutorials.com/index.php?page=content/t_aerial

Well, I try to get more of a dip with my non-kicking leg so I can get more power to push up, try doing that. Also, when you go into the aerial you seem to hope the moementum would just carry you over. You backleg/Kicking leg needs to stay in that lane; so to speak, and just don't turn it into a round-off...just keep going over that way....you'll get it. I will post an aerial of mine tomorrow and show you want I mean.

You drop your chest early and too much, your chest should never go more than parallel to the ground, your arms are in the wrong position, you need to throw them back to get more height, you need to keep your legs straight in the air to get enough heel drive to complete the rotation, push a little more with your jumping leg, and drive a little more with your trailing leg, the trying to do split advise was good, Keep at it you'll get them eventually.

Edit- And you need to be more linear in your body motion, you kind of turn sideways as opposed to just doing a straight half turn(if that makes any sense) can you do cartwheels and one handed cartwheels with GOOD form?

Yeah I have good one handed cartwheels (only on one side) but I will keep practicing them anyway since it can't hurt and I'll just keep practicing my aerials till I get them and thanks for the advice.  I will keep posting my progress in this thread at the top.
