I want to take a vote here. I've noticed that the CO forums haven't been as active as I'd like. I think this is partly due to people thinking only 100% colorado parkour pertinent posts can go in these forums. In reality, I hoped to have more posting and interaction between members of the community even if it isn't about the jam tomorrow or who wants a COPK t shirt.
On the other hand, I think the forums here have made COPK people more active on the national level. Also, we dont need a bunch of repeat threads in a CO forum that are already covered and valuable information to the parkour community on a larger scale.
So just reply to this post with at least a "Yes, I think we should have our own forum" or a "No, I think its fine the way it is." For bonus points, give some reasons behind your thinking.

I'm just curious as to what this means. Are you going to delete this forum? Or make one on COPK? Thanks.

this would be left here just like all the other states. if we had a new one, this one would link to it either directly or with a post.

I think a whole forum might open people up more. It could be fun, or it could take up space. It might be more organized. As long as the info is out there and people have the right to talk, I'm good.

I was actually just thinking the other day what a great move it was to have Colorado's main forum within the apk forum
My vote: stays as is

personally i don't think there's quite enough to require a seperate forum...yet, but maybe in the future

To be honest, I think that it would just further complicate the process of sending and recieving information. For example: Someone sets up a jam in the stricly CO forum but others forget to look their because they just look at the APK forum... they just missed out on a jam. To be honest, Im not surfing the forum much right now because its finals, its winter ( I personally am doing strength training) and I just dont have time most days.

It would work to change it if you set it up so that it links from the APK forums to the COPK forums and you can thus set up the Colorado boards how you want. Another option is to leave it how it is and just create a bunch of sub-categories so it's more organized than it is right now.

I think that this would be the best solution, having a second forum would just make more work, make things more confusing. I also think that keeping the COPK forums on APK will also be nice for our of state traceurs that want to come and join us with out having to search all over the internet. Jsut my thoughts....

Dano here. I generally find forums to be a difficult form of communication (I'm old, yo), so I mostly lurk. I think this forum is great but I just don't have much energy to contribute to it regularly. I suppose the late reply to this thread is somewhat telling.
I vote 'stay as it is', but I like the subcategories idea if someone wants to invest the time into it.
