They found him near a water tower and a bunch of tall buildings. There's no mention of parkour in this article, but a reporter from a major newspaper here in chicago has contacted me and told me that he thinks he practiced parkour. I asked him what his sources were and he said he's looking into it. I'm also asking the guys I know from U of I if they know him, Christopher Daniel Fu. So far I've got nothing. I explained to the reporter that there have been articles that have been written very negatively about Parkour in the past and that I didn't want this to happen. Any mention of Parkour related death in article is very bad for us. The reporter explained to me that he is just investigating as of now and wants to talk only if the student's interest was parkour. I'm going to find out what this reporter wants exactly, and I may not even talk to him at all. He told he also doesn't intend to write a negative article, so I'm still really skeptical about all of this. This can't be taken lightly. What do you guys think?
Also if this reporter emails you and askes for your phone number to talk, don't reply to him, the less people he talks to, the less it is to deal with.
EDIT: the article has been updated, he was a part of a facebook parkour group. notice the words at top of article, "practices building jumping"
