I live in a small rural area in a small village. It's filled with only old people and there is pretty much nothing to do. That's why I took up parkour. I hardly get any free time because of my school (I sleep there 3 nights a week) and I get a lot of homework.
Winter is coming in fast and it's almost constantly raining here, when it isn't raining everything is damp and slippy. There isn't much to do parkour on and I'm having problems doing some of the moves. There's more mud than concrete in this place.
I'm only a beginner and I know pros can do parkour pretty much anywhere but since parkour seems a very much urban activity and I don't live in an urban area I feel at a loss as to what do to.
After every training session I come home feeling irritated.
What can I do?

You've got woods?
Some of the best traceurs I know have trained almost exclusively in woodlands. They get confused in the urban environment, but set them off in the woods and they'll rip through it before any urban traceur can even figure out what there is to do.

I usually train at at a play ground near my house. Although I think I'm going to start training in the woods after what Animus Light said.

Wow now i want to blush. Lol. I train alot in the woods. (No he wasn't talking about me), and i do mean ALOT. The majority of my training is there and it's extremely fun. I'm actually trying to progress to a little more urban stuff, but the woods are just so much fun.

rofl! I practice in the woods loads! Jumping, vaulting sliding under branches is completely natural . I thought parkour was exclusively urban. Ah well that is relieving!

Yea thats a common misconception about parkour. theres a movie on google video you should watch called generation yamakasi and they talk about how you can adapt parkour to wherever you live. for instance parkour is differend in lisses, france (urban area) than sarcelles (heavily wooded)

Not just that but if i remember correctly Belle started out doing parkour in the fields of his own home. And when he moved he felt lost and cramped so addapted his parkour to the city. (Not completely positive i just remember hearing that.

Cyanide's correct. Belle lived in Fecamp until 1987 when he moved to Lisses.
