Okay we were at this place in the inside court of a government building. We'd been practicing for a while and we saw a security agent walking up to us. We were on top of a bunch of big concrete blocks (some sort of modern art thing, it's our parkour wonderland). He looked all mad and grumpy and was already yelling before he came to the top of the stairs that led to the sort of plateau where we were. We huddled for a second and silently agreed on what was about to follow. When he reached the top of the stairs we broke into a run, to the edge of the blocks, turn vaulted and dropped to the lower level. We ran off and dropped from block to block until we were on the courtyard level and then ran clear of the building. I turned back and the security agent was still on top, vainly putting his fist up in the air and yelling unintelligible things. It felt sooo good that the guy couldn't do anything to catch us

if we run away from people when we are training on their property, instead of trying to explain to them what parkour is, i suspect that the number of hotspots, and the number of people that know parkour is NOT skateboarding without a skateboard will drop dramiticaly... that being said, somtimes you get ann asshole and you just gotta jet

Also apparently us being on a roof is worse or equal to all of the following; 1) URINATING IN PUBLIC FOR SHITS SAKE (public urinating=$100 our fine $250, 2) Selling alcohol to minors, and a whole plethora of other things not to mention vandalism.

Princess that's kind of irresponsible. I know it was just a rent-a-cop but still.
Wow sat, what happened? What are they ticketing you for?

Well we've been going there for over a year. We've tried everything to make them let us practice. Since it is government owned, we have as much right to be there than to be out in the street but for some reason they keep shooting the insurance issues back to our face. They just don't want us there. We've been threatened that they would call the police many many times so now whenever we see someone coming we just book it. There is no point arguing with them any more cause these security agents know all of us and have told us to leave countless times. We keep going there because the spot is so good but we just have to be extra careful. With the way the environment is shaped there we can really run from anybody anyways... Except from an equally skilled traceur of course. And I don't think a police officer who is also a traceur would be really willing to give people a ticket for practicing parkour.

Wow sat that sucks. What type of building was it.
Ok, got you princess. Makes alot more since now. Have you tried talking to the owner of the building, and getting some sort of contract saying you won't sue or something? Yeah recently i've been having alot of trouble with people telling me to leave certain spots. It really becomes annoying. Anyways i'm going to start going to a larger town once a month for parkour. That'll be fun. Anyways all good.

oh my god, this gave me such an idea, someone should introduce parkour to law enforcement, think about it, specially trained "TRACEUR" devisions, i mean i hate to train the guys that could potentially catch us trespassing, but cops that were able to perform basic parkour skills would significanlly effect law enforcement, and could even have a noticable effect on Crime rates

The pentagon is government owned. Yea... Bad wording from my part there but it's one of those public buildings, partly for sightseeing and the rest is like offices for very unimportant things. There is security there but in the begining they were fine with us practicing so they must've been told by someone up the hierachy that we couldn't be there.

I think crossfit is trying to do that, which really makes sense, firefighter, police officers, branches of millitary, all these people should have a basic premise of getting from a to b as fast as possible. In those jobs it is very important "to be strong, to be usefull". in fact if im not mistaken (which i may be dont qoute me on this) i belive the french army was trained in MN (no im not confusing mn with parkour, just too lazy to start a new paragraph) too bad all that MN training couldnt help them in WWII thats right, i went their
