I am new to parkour cosidering i started about 1 and a half weeks ago.I live in a really backcountry kind of neighborhood and don't really have very many places to train exept the woods around my house and the neighborhood fences, any help ideas?

You dont need much just starting out, drill rolls and landings! These are the foundation blocks that are essential in Parkour

Thanks, I see the truth to your words and I can easily prctice landing and rolling from my six foot high window, but any tips on how to vault and things like that? Beacuse sometimes I doubt my own abilties

NONONONONONONO! Parkour is NOT about jumping out of things. You shouldn't be jumping off anything to practice landing or rolling. Practice on the ground. Jump up, land. Jump up, Land, Roll.

Whew! Glad i wasnt the only one posting on this thread, thanks Jake, you just saved that kids joints big time

And, yes, exactly what Jake said, dont do that. Nothing more than waist high for the first year is the general rule.

Well that kinda rules out most things I have to work with around my area, but I understand why I would like to keep from damaging my joint right of the bat. I also have another question, Shoud I take it easy with my parkour training beacuase I slightly broke my ankle back in late July and am completly healed, but I still wonder about my personl saftey and health(as we all should) any tips and things like that?

If its completely healed it should not do anything to your training.
And you dont need to do much just starting out. Rolling and Landing for maybe the first month.
The more you train the more opportunities you will see, you develop a mystical power called Parkour Vision oooooooweeeeeeeooooooo  Grin Cheesy

I have to ask you something "New to Parkour". Are you in really good shape, or not? Because if not, than I suggest that for your first month of training you do conditioning to get in shape(look on the general fitness board for tips) and landing and rolling techniques.
Now, if you're in really good shape, I suggest learning some vaults right away alongside landing and rolling. That way, the further you progress into parkour, the more conditioning you layer onto your training because you'd already be in good shape. Some would disagree with me, but it's not a terrible idea to learn vaults right away as long as you're safe. I was in great shape going into parkour and I learned to kong vault on my first day, didn't hurt me at all.
Although I did see on one of your posts in your other thread that you were only 12 and not in very good shape. So if that's the case, go for the first option.

I am after all only twelve but I am not in bad physical condition, but on the other hand I could do better.I see myself as fat but my adult people (lol that what i call my parents) tell me it's just baby fat that I will almost completly go away in a year or two, but again I could do better with what I eat and I could exersize more than I do.

Don't do anything you're not comfortable with. If you want to learn how to do a kong vault, first drill the sub-movements of it. For example, try raising your hip high as you lean on your hands. Do that until you're comfortable, then move on to the next.
Remember: Do it like 30 times to make sure it's stamped to your muscle memory.

I have had plenty of rain wheer I live and with all the dirt roads near my house, every road almost is mushier than crap.
