I am currently in the transition of switching to a more paleo diet. I don't want to lose weight, just maybe gain more muscle and become healthier and better reach my physical potential so that I can be better in Parkour/freerunning/tennis, etc. Anyways, I have been eating a lot healthier breakfasts and lunch, and making more exceptions on what I eat during dinner until I've gotten used to the paleo diet. After a week and a half, I'm having some trouble coming up with original, fairly quick and easy breakfast ideas, and also what to pack for my school lunch. I've been pretty much eating two eggs of some sort or another for breakfast and a banana and some nuts or something(for lack of knowledge of a more breakfast-like fat). Its kind of getting old, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out by giving me some ideas on what to eat. It doesn't have to be strictly paleo, I don't mind drinking milk and stuff, and I'll eat oatmeal, but yeah, any and all breakfast ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

P.S. also if you have any ideas on some varieties of foods I can pack in my lunch, i've pretty much been having a homemade chef salad every day which is good but yeah.

Nothing wrong with eating some sort of meat for breakfast.

Bacon, sausage, steak, etc. Could be costly though.

Eggs works... omlettes if you can cook. Fruits, nuts, etc. are all fine. Milk and oatmeal are ok if you don't want to be strict paleo in the morning.

Lunch you wanna aim for meat + vegetables + fruits + nuts more or less. Eggs too. Whatever works dude. :p

Thanks, I probably should buy some sausage that's a good idea. Right now I have this turkey bacon which is ok but has no fat and isn't something I'd eat every day. Anyone got some more suggestions?

Berries, Jerky, Pemmican, all I can think of right now. Think like a hunter-gatherer dude, you're trying to get food for yourself, now what are you going to kill tonight for a source of meat and what are you going to get to add to that meal?

Ham and cheese, turkey/chicken, and veggies like onions and bell peppers work well in omelettes.

Oatmeal is good, especially if you mix in different things like fruit, nuts, raisins, nut butters...it even tastes pretty good with plain yogurt.

If you're not going strictly paleo, try mixing various kinds of fruits and berries into some plain yogurt (the kind made from whole milk tastes WAY better than the lowfat/nonfat kind, imho, plus you get an added source of fat in the morning).

Since going Primal with my diet, I eat only when I'm hungry and I don't often get hungry before noon. I had that same problem for a while, but then I thought about it and in a hunter-gatherer situation, I wouldn't be getting breakfast every day. So I rarely eat breakfast anymore. When I do, it's usually hard boiled/scrambled eggs and some berries.

hmmm well just remember that grazing all day doesn't necessarily mean you'll put on weight. Also, what are you doing in your training to help optimize mass gains?

As long as it's working for you and getting the results you want, keep it up. Once it stops, make changes until it starts again.
