Abs

Are abs heavily used muscles in Parkour? If they are, what are some good lower ab exercises?

Not specifically the abs, but the core is.

Olympic lifts, Compound Lifts, Flips, Planche, Front lever, L-sit, V-sit, Manna, Rail balance, underbars, etc. all these will work your core.

Please don't go do crunches thinking that they will help you out a lot because they won't. Do what Grayson suggested if at all possible.
