So just curious about my fellow traceurs? What vault in your arsenal can cover the most distance in a single jump at full speed? We will say that this obstacle we are going over is just a flat raised table that is as long as your longest vault can reach.

I know most here will probably say kong, but even if that is so I just want to know your distance. My personal best vault is my speed vault. I can throw myself over and obstacle and not have to touch my hand down for the vault for 7 feet. That one second of parallel air time is complete bliss.

What is yours?

What do you mean by the most distance? Are we talking about from the take-off to when your feet hit the ground on the other side? Or are we talking about from the take-off to the object (Which is what I believe you're talking about with your speed vault)? Or something completely different?

But for now, my best is my kong. After I kong an object I can get about 5-6 feet+ to the other side. I've only practiced kongs on railings and walls though so I have no idea what it's like on tables or long surfaces.

No, he means how far can you vault from takeoff to landing I think. Mine would be kong and dash, they're equal right now. With both I can get over a 6 foot picnic table with relative ease, but I'm still working on my one foot kong takeoff(I do the two foot punch, but already I'm seeing the potential distance with a one footed takeoff)

no, he means with the gravity button turned on

anyways, the best I can do is my 8 foot Dash over the picnic tables at the school...  although, that is just the longest thing I can find...

Also, don't try it when there are idiots around...  I was about to do one (Done them forever now) and someone thought it'd be funny to try and trip me...  I dodged them with ease but didn't dodge the table...  full sprint to hurdling a short kid to knee cap in table...  fun combo there...  I think I got about 1400 points with a x3 multiplier...

However, now I'm down for 6 freakin weeks... (Happened Friday so I'm only 3 days in... well 4 now I guess)

14 foot kong does seem ridiculous. Btw an 8 foot long picnic table is the longest object I can find too. No use trying it until I master the split foot kong takeoff. Although I feel I would have a good shot at it using the two foot punch.

My farthest is the kong definetly.
I can double kong an 8 ft. picnic table.
I can single kong a 10 ft. table i think...
{dont know the exact measure}
I dive way out before placing my hands
for the kong though Smiley

So now I can kong an eight foot picnic table, but I'm not proud of it yet, because 1. it's with the two foot punch and 2. I have to tuck my feet way in at the end so they don't hit the end of the table. Because with a 6 foot long or so object, I can keep all my momentum without tucking my feet back until I'm over the object(you know what I mean, basically a good looking, momentum sustaining kong vault.) So yeah should probably take a step back from the 8 foot table and focus on the basics more.

If you're looking for a practical vault that will cover a lot of distance try double kong turned kash.  I can't execute it of course, but still.  Or if you want something cool to visualize, double kong to handspring.

I've only managed to get 5 - 6 ft. with a pseudo-kong - it was kinda like a kong, more of a monkey though.  Working on my kongs.
