Parkour/Free running are NOT about taking drops! Stay ground level and practice your techniques!

Heal fast dude. Ice, do your rehab, etc.

Dude, you shouldn't be taking 13' drops on your first day practicing.  Most experienced traceurs don't even go that high until about a year of practice, and some stay ONLY on ground level.  I started a few weeks ago, and the highest drop I've taken is about 6'.  Wait a few months until you try anything remotely like that.  Check the situation up with a doctor, don't train for a while, and just rest.  Good luck!

when I first started parkour I thought I could take drops like that, and I did.... but it caught up with me and  my knees started to swell  up.... I coudn't walk or do anything without pain..... I'm all better now but now I know... if it doesn't hurt... it will.... So don't do drops that high...... PERIOD.
