Last tuesday I screwed up on a jump that I have done litarily hundreds of times.  Its about a seven foot drop.  When I landed to go into a roll my left foot slipped and I didn't quite get my head and shoulder to tuck enough.  I landed straight on my neck and shoulder heard a pop and it was all over.  I went to the hospital and the x-rays confirmed the agonizing pain in my shoulder.  I had broken my collar bone in two places.  The bone is in three pieces.  As of right now all they can do is give pain killers and muscle relaxers.  I have to keep my arm in a sling.  In a week I have to go back for a check-up to make sure it is healing right.  If it isn't healing right I will have to have surgery.  So all I can do now is take pain killers and hope for the best.

This goes to show that you should take care in every movement that you do.  Parkour is a dangerous sport and all it takes is one little slip to mess you up seriously.  Your body can only take so much.  So do your best to make sure you are doing everything correctly.  I know that I am starting again from ground zero when I am able to do so.  Re training everything to make sure it is correct

Ouch. I feel your pain man, I did the exact same thing a couple of months back...only one break though. They put me in a figure of 8 thing that kinda went behind my back and over my arms and held it in place. Collar bones suck. You cant do anything when its broken. I couldnt even run, or do pushups, or situps for about 2 months. Heres to hoping you get back in the game soon. Dont give up hope, it'll heal eventualy and youll  be able to do everythign you were able to before. It can be frusturating waiting though, but were all here for you hoping you get back quickly.
Oh yeah one more thing, I did some research when I was sitting around immobile, and try to get as much calcium and vitamin d as you can. Also caffiene and too much protine decrease the amount of calcium you absorb. Theres some more good information here if you want to check it out.  http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=nutrient&dbid=45
Goodluck man.

thanks for the link and support.  I'm working on getting some good suplements to start taking.  Also I'm finding good low impact lower body workouts. To  help pass the time.

In Nov. last year, I ended up with an A/C separation (AcromioCavicular separation). It was a level 2 but took me about 9 months to heal. My collarbone sticks up higher on my left side now but the pain is gone and I'm back 2 full-on active duty as a street samurai! Anybody else had this?

Wow,  my turn. I was going into a roll from a jump, landed and instead of rolling basically flipped my shoulder into the ground. It hurt really bad at first, but has commed down pretty much. I had to spend a crap load of time at the doctor though. Anyways, i should get a video up pretty soon.
